Richard Dabrus has experience as a designer, team leader and principal for a wide range of project types including office, retail, interiors, education, hospitality, sport facilities, master planning and judicial projects.

In practice in Ontario since 1983 and registered with the OAA since 1990, he has been active with the Toronto Society of Architects and the Urban Design Institute, serving on numerous committees including special committees on design-build, judicial design and new urbanism design in Ontario. He has served as an instructor/mentor with the RAIC Syllabus program and is currently serving as a committee member at the OAA.

Richard has been involved in organizing and managing consultant teams and internal design teams from a projects inception through to completion. He has been involved with most every project type and delivery method including design-build, construction management and stipulated sum contracts.

In addition, Richard has taken lead roles on projects that have required site acquisition/analysis, the development of preliminary budgets, the obtaining of municipal approvals and the organization of project teams for institutional, commercial, residential and recreation projects.
